Haapsalu Shawl

Haapsalu Shawl is a specifically lace knitted scarf. In the end of January I started to make one for myself:

The main part of the scarf is being knitted first. And then you can do the edge lace in two ways: knit it to the main part; or make it separately and then stitch it to the main part. I did the edge lace separately, just to try it out. And I must say it was very tricky to figure out the number of the edge lace stitches... But I finished it, finally!
And here is it few weeks later, on the table, after trimming:

  Pattern is called "Sofia":
